Beth Cerny Patiño
With 18 years of experience in marketing communications and web strategy, I develop and drive communications for the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF). I work on every aspect of our organization's marketing efforts and play a critical role in building and maintaining the ALCF brand. Adopting a designed-centered, user-focused strategy, I collaborate with technical staff to improve customer experience across user support channels, user applications, and technical documentation.
KIND WORDS
“Beth’s strengths are her deep desire to do the very best work, her tremendous ability to connect design to an organization’s vision, and her fearlessness to learn and apply new technologies. What I like most about Beth is how she dives into what is written and spoken about the organization and translates that into compelling design. All of the ALCF materials and social presence adhere to a vision derived directly from the users we support and the systems we build. This is rare skill - even in the era of user-centered, customer experience. She’s always looking ahead, staying on top of the latest design and technology trends. Beth teaches her team that technology is not a barrier, but a way to get the best design for the organization. I don’t think I’ve ever heard her say, “I just don’t understand how to do that.” Instead, she puts her head down and figures it out. This technology fearlessness translates into her management style and her teams are inspired to grow their skills and meet her strong vision.”
